IIA institutes and other interested parties are encouraged to translate the new InternationalStandards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Translations of the Standards must be made in accordance with Administrative Directive No. 2, "Translation or Adaptation of the InternationalStandards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and Other Standards-Related Pronouncements."

This document describes the administrative procedures for adapting the Standards and other Standards-related pronouncements to audit environments throughout the world and/or for translating them into languages other than English.
