Virt Sems Tile AdIIA Virtual Seminars Information
Never before has attending high-quality IIA seminars been easier. The IIA's new virtual seminars make learning convenient, fun, and cost-effective.

Imagine adding to your professional development, learning a new aspect of your job, and earning CPE - regardless of where you are physically located:

- Anywhere access.

- Live, interactive quality training by professionals in your field.

- Classroom-style instruction with a low student-to-instructor ratio.

- Short sessions (2 to 3 hours) scheduled over several weeks.

The concept of a virtual seminar is new to many of us, so what is a virtual seminar?
In short, it's a seminar that's accessed via the Internet. Participants attend scheduled sessions over one or more weeks, interact with a live class and instructor, and complete reading and other assignments in between scheduled sessions. In effect, a virtual seminar has many of the characteristics of a seminar you would take by traveling to a specific location, but now you can take it from the comfort of your home or office and without any of the travel and hotel costs associated with a traditional seminar.

What do you need to participate in a virtual seminar?
To get the full virtual seminar experience, you will need:

  • The ability to install a small plug-in to your Web browser.
    • Perform a system check and browser plug-in install by clicking here now.
    • System requirements are provided on the system check page.
  • A computer headset with microphone. We'll send this to you as part of your registration package.
  • The ability to attend all scheduled sessions. It's important to note that missing sessions can result in a reduction of the CPEs you're awarded, or denial of CPE entirely if minimum attendance requirements are not met.
