Benefits of Being a Seminar Facilitator

IIA Bookstore Discounts
Participants at each seminar get a special price (10 percent discount) on IIA publications that are ordered within two weeks of the seminar dates. Transportation for shipping the books is paid for by The IIA. The students should be encouraged to look at the Bookstore display at each seminar site.

Free IIA Membership
Non-members of The IIA who attend a public seminar pay a higher fee for the course. Starting in 2005, they are automatically given a free one-year membership and are added to the membership list electronically.

CIA Registration Fee
The US $60 registration fee for the CIA exam (only) is waived if the participants submit the registration form within 12 months of the seminar date and attached a copy of the CPE letter to the registration form. The students must still pay the fee for each section of the exam that they are taking.
