I'm doing my Master degree in Engineering Project Management at university of Leeds, England.

My Dissertation title is about (Developing new ethical recruitment strategy for future engineering employment), I want to come up with a strategy that recommend the use of (Electronic monitoring techniques) or as I call it (Big brother day at workplace) along with (Pre-employment screening), as I suggest that applying Code of ethics and training, per se, might not be enough to enhance the ethics practice, and I would be really grateful if you can answer some of my questions

I’ve a lot of questions running through my head, please I would really appreciate if you can clear things up for me!!.If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask..

1. I want to know, how do you measure the ethical background of your newly applied employees?

2. If there is any kind of measurement at all for the ethics background, should it be mentioned and take place within the organizational mission statement? Or organization policy? And why?

3. How can the employees have an input on the organizational ethics code? Do you think that employees are in a position to change and affect the organization ethics policy? I need to know if No, or yes, why?

4. What kind of method/ techniques your organization use to enhance the ethics practice, other than code of conduct and the ethics training?

5. How can you make sure that these codes are being implemented?

6. Do your organization apply any monitoring techniques? and if not? Do you believe that monitoring would be a useful method to enhance the ethics practice?

I am a lecturer in Social Work from Athens/Greece and I have found your article very useful and much interesting. Please could you let me know if there is a research tool (e.g. questionnaire) based on the Bandura's concept of self-efficacy that is being used in academic settings for measuring ethics programs?
kind regards
