The IIA's Event Management Tool (EMT) Launches in January 2015

In January 2015, The IIA will be launching the new Event Management Tool (EMT), powered by e-touches, to chapters in North America. 

The Event Management Tool will provide chapters with a user-friendly, one-stop-shop event planning experience. Chapter Leaders will have access to a tool that grants the ability to:

  • Market events to members and non-members.
  • Import and manage member, customer, and prospect mailing lists.
  • Create and collect registrations for events.
  • Run and analyze event reports from the convenience of any computer or Internet portal.
  • Print badges and sign-in sheets for events.
  • Distribute and collect event evaluations based on pre- and post-survey feedback.
  • Issue CPE credits via the email marketing tool.

The EMT is the first of three initiatives that will be developed and available to chapters in 2015. These initiatives include: The Event Management Tool, Speaker Database, and Chapter Portal. Together, the tools will form a fully integrated solution for chapters to automate the management of events, membership, speakers, and Chapter Achievement Program (CAP) reporting to The IIA.

Chapter IT Projects

Chapters who are interested in the Event Management Tool will be subject to an annual participation fee (see below) which will be automatically deducted from the chapter allotment.
