To Add or Remove Members for your Group Membership during membership term:

  • To remove an individual from your group membership, please contact auditgroups@theiia.org and provide the individual's name and member identification number with your request to remove them from the group membership.
  • Group Membership Guidelines
  •  All practicing internal audit professionals in the organization must join The IIA, including the audit director. Organizations with international staffs are not required to include staff outside the country in which the home office is located.
  • All members will be enrolled under one organization name. Organizations with subsidiaries may choose to consider each subsidiary a separate organization.
  • Group memberships are nontransferable.
  • Replacements of departing group members can be included for the remainder of the term for a US $25 additional fee (certain restrictions may apply). Please use this form to replace a group member.
  • Group members retain their membership should they leave the organization. At time of renewal, their membership rate will revert to the appropriate individual membership rate.
  • If you already belong to The IIA as an individual member at the time the audit group is enrolled, you will not receive a refund or credit for unexpired months of membership.
  • Group memberships will be renewed annually. The group manager will be sent a billing statement listing all members on IIA records and will be asked to update the roster. Vacant positions may be paid for at the time of renewal or during the year by remitting the per-member rate as new staff members are added.
