Directions on How to Renew your Group Membership 

  • The IIA will send a renewal packet to the group manager’s attention 90 days prior to the group’s expiration date. The packet will contain the following documents: 

    • Group Membership Renewal Checklist
    • Member Profile Sheets for Individual Group Members in your Organization
    • Dues Calculation Summary Sheet
      • If you are a Regular Audit Group Membership located in the United States or Caribbean, use this form.
      • If you are a Regular Audit Group Membership located in Canada, use this form.
      • If you are a Government Audit Group Membership located in the United States or Caribbean, use this form.
      • If you are a Government Audit Group Membership located in Canada, use this form.
    • Add New Members
    • Delete Members 
      • If you have members who have left the department or organization, please note on the data sheets. 
      • Please indicate if the member has left your department or if they have left the organization altogether. (The IIA will notify this person to give them the opportunity of continuing their membership at the regular membership rate.)
    • Make Corrections
      • Please note any corrections to data on the data sheets.
    • Mark “CAE” on the profile sheet of the member who is the CAE of your organization. 
    • Additional Slots 
      • If you anticipate additional group members, you can remit fees at the time you renew for your organization by noting that you are paying for an open slot (to be used at a later date), or you can wait and send incremental fees upon filling the open slot. (Please note, group memberships are non-transferable.)
  • Please review all the Member Profile Sheets included in your packet to ensure The IIA has accurate and updated contact information for each group member.
  • In order for The IIA to process your group membership renewal, please submit the following items as one complete renewal package to The IIA, 247 Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701:
     
    • Member Profile Sheets for current individual group members indicating any changes or deletions.
    • Member Profile Sheets for any new individual members being added to the group membership.
    • A completed Dues Calculation Summary Sheet.
    • The entire group membership dues payment must be included in order for The IIA to process your membership renewal. Incomplete payment submissions will cause a delay in processing the group membership until full payment is received.
      • Multiple checks are accepted as long as they are included in the renewal packet and add up to the total group membership renewal calculation on the dues calculation sheet.
      • DO NOT have individual group members mail separate payments to The IIA.
