Are There Special Conditions?
If your organization is interested in Audit Group Membership, please review the following conditions for enrollment:

  1. All practicing internal auditing professionals in the organization must join The IIA, including the audit director. Organizations with international staffs are not required to include staff outside the country in which the home office is located.
  2. All members will be enrolled under one organization name. Organizations with subsidiaries may choose to consider each subsidiary a separate organization.
  3. Each member must verify his or her eligibility and agree to abide by The IIA's Code of Ethics.
  4. The audit group must provide The IIA with the name, title, and mailing address of each member.
  5. Audit group members may have their mail sent to their business or home address.
  6. Audit group memberships are nontransferable.
  7. Replacements of departing audit group members can be included for the remainder of the term for a US $25 additional fee (certain restrictions apply).
  8. Audit group members retain their membership should they leave the organization. At time of renewal, their membership rate will revert to the individual membership rate.
  9. If you already belong to The IIA at the time the audit group is enrolled, you will not receive a refund or credit for unexpired months of membership.
  10. Audit group memberships will be renewed annually. The director will be sent a billing statement listing all members on IIA records and will be asked to update the roster. Vacant positions may be paid for at the time of renewal or during the year by remitting the per-member rate as new members are added.
  11. All members will receive Internal Auditor, but The IIA has the right to limit other mailings such as promotions for publications, seminars, and conferences.

How Do I Enroll My Organization?
If you are interested in registering for the Audit Group Membership program, simply e-mail your request to our Membership Department (auditgroups@theiia.org), fax your request to: +1-407-937-1101, or call +1-407-937-1111. Please include a contact name, organization name, and your preferred method to receive material.

The Institute will send you a list of all IIA members in your organization plus enrollment forms for signing up your remaining audit professionals.
