About The IIA Research Foundation
The Research Foundation was founded in 1976 by The Institute of Internal Auditors. Since that time, the Foundation has consistently set the standard for professional achievement in the internal auditing profession. The Foundation was formed as a tax-exempt* corporation to provide and expand research and education for the benefit of the internal auditor, the internal auditing profession, the business and government communities, and the general public.
