Welcome to the 2nd Annual IIA Compensation Study!
Performed through The IIA’s Global Audit Information Network (GAIN), this study has proven to be the most comprehensive study available on the market for compensation for the internal audit profession. Given today’s economy, audit leaders and practitioners need the most current information to effectively hire and retain internal audit professionals.
This study is being performed in partnership with a leading Human Resources and Total Rewards System Consulting Firm that will allow The IIA to leverage resources that will enhance the validity and credibility of the study, allowing human resources departments, internal audit activities, audit committees, and senior management alike to use this amazing new service from The IIA.

Critical Instructions for Participation!
This study has two phases that must be completed in order for your submissions to be validated. Please note that all submissions will remain strictly confidential and all activities associated with this study will be maintained behind The IIA’s security wall. Please perform the following steps:
(1) Complete organizational online survey, which will take less than ten minutes, by clicking here: http://iiasurvey.theiia.org/flashsurvey/se.ashx?s=0B87D78479907822
(2) Upon completion of the organizational survey, you will be redirected to an Excel spreadsheet where you will input individual compensation information. Please do not hesitate to seek assistance from your human resource team. http://www.theiia.org/download.cfm?file=77729
(3) Please enable macros on the spreadsheet. You will be provided with a macro where you can submit this portion of the study directly. If you are not able to enable macros, please e-mail submission to gain@theiia.org. Again, your submissions will be handled with the utmost security and remain strictly confidential.
(4) Please complete both phases of the study by the close date of June 30th, 2009.
