Who Participated in CBOK?
CBOK was a truly global study:

• A team of 15 researchers from North America, Europe, Africa and Australia performed an exhaustive literature review, wrote the surveys and authored A Summary of the Common Body of Knowledge 2006.
• The surveys were translated and distributed in 17 languages (English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish, Italian, German, Polish, Russian, Czech, Turkish, Bulgarian, Indonesian, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Arabic).
• Over 12,000 responses were received to the surveys.
• After careful data cleansing and statistical analysis, the final database reflects the information of 9,366 internal auditors from around the world.
• Responses were received from 89 IIA institutes and internal auditors in 91 countries.
