Presenter Biography: Bruce Caplain, CPA

Bruce Caplain has developed and implemented internal audit and fraud prevention functions since he joined First Marblehead in 2004. Previously, he was the general director of corporate audit at John Hancock Financial Services where he oversaw a department of 35 professionals. He also worked at The Boston Company as a director of internal audit, and started an investment risk management function within their asset management group of The Boston Company. He began his career with Coopers & Lybrand, where he specialized in financial service clients.
