Presenter Biography: Dana E. Jarvis, MPA, MSW

Dana Jarvis is a strategic human resources leader with significant experience analyzing and building employee engagement initiatives for diverse organizations. As a management consultant, he led projects in assessing employee satisfaction, developing supervisory skills, and studying shared services. In the capacity of Human Resources director, he created corporate universities, leadership programs, and performance management systems. These employee engagement initiatives strengthened succession planning, leadership pipelines, and overall career paths. With Avanti Consulting Group, Jarvis is building training models focused on leadership development, training, on-boarding, performance management, and diversity, among others. He is a former U.S. Marine, and he sat on the board of directors for numerous community-based nonprofit organizations.
