Presenter Biography: Rob Newsome

Rob Newsome serves as the client priority leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers, Southern African Governance Advisory Services section within the firm's Advisory practice. His professional career includes serving as a senior university lecturer in accounting; partner with accounting firm Fisher Hoffman Stride; head of Internal Audit at Eskom; Southern African lead partner, Corporate Governance at KPMG; general manager, Group Internal Audit at MTN; and senior executive partner, Business Risk Services at Ernst & Young. Newsome is an active member of The IIA and has held a number of volunteer positions, including president, South Africa Board; chairman, International Relations Committee; vice chair, Professional Services, and vice chair, Professional Practices.
