Tuesday Evening Gala Event
The IIA’s International Conference Gala has been a traditional highlight of this annual gathering and this year’s event promises to be no exception. You’ll join delegates from around the world for a special cocktail hour and sumptuous dinner. Music enthusiasts will be delighted with an authentic Chicago Blues concert, and everyone can dance the night away.
The night's entertainment headliners include Lonnie Brooks and his Voo Doo Blues Band. Long before Lonnie was headlining major blues festivals and sharing stages with the likes of Eric Clapton, he was forging his bayou-swamp-music-meets-Chicago-blues-via-Texas style.

Earn a Specialty Certification at the International Conference
The Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), and Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA) exams will be offered on July 13 from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. local time at the Hyatt Regency Chicago Hotel, following the conclusion of The IIA’s International Conference events. Selected Sessions Simultaneously Translated into Spanish
The basic language of International Conference 2005 is English; however, all general sessions and one concurrent session during each time period will be simultaneously translated into Spanish.
New Block of Hotel Rooms Offered for International Conference 2005
The block of rooms at The IIA’s International Conference venue, the Hyatt Regency Chicago, has sold out. The IIA has secured a new block of rooms at the Swissôtel Chicago, conveniently connected to the conference venue via a walking tunnel. This limited number of rooms is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The IIA has also secured a block of rooms at the Fairmont Chicago, which is next door to the Hyatt and not more than a three-minute walk from the conference venue.
