Continuing the Conversation on Environmental Fraud

​Douglas Hileman, co-presenter of the recent webinar, “Environmental Fraud: Introduction to Prevention and Detection,” sat down with EHSAC Director Tammy Wyche to answer the many questions impossible to field during the live presentation. As Doug explains, fraud in the environmental context – or “environmental fraud” is simply fraud where environmental compliance, related aspects of operation, reporting, or relevant reputational risks involve environmental issues. Environmental fraud can be found anywhere there is pressure for results, an incentive, and where anyone – a person, a group, or a company – can rationalize deceit.
