Call for Webinar Proposals

The Public Sector Audit Center (PSAC) is calling for proposals to build its 2020 webinar series. You are invited to submit a proposal to share your experience and expertise with public sector internal auditors. The audience will benefit from your expertise while you make a valuable contribution to the internal audit profession.

Each webinar is a one-hour presentation on a topic that impacts the internal audit function within local, state, or federal government, or any publicly controlled or publicly funded agencies, enterprises, and other entities that deliver public programs, goods, or services. Ideal topics for each area include but are not limited to:

  • Political Impact on the Public Sector
  • Impact of 2018 Yellow Book Revisions on Internal Audit
  • Public Private Partnerships
  • Auditing Public Sector Grants or Grants Management
  • Effective Public Disclosure of Audit Reports
  • Contract Management

Please note that all presentations should include specific insight or case studies in the any of the three specialty areas.

Proposals must be submitted by using this electronic form by November 15, 2019. Eligible proposals will be reviewed by The IIA, and responses will be communicated by December 6, 2019.

In lieu of compensation, those chosen to present a webinar are eligible for CPE credit in support of their IIA credentials. If your proposal is not selected for a webinar, we may contact you to discuss other means of showcasing your expertise to IIA specialty center members.
