Data analysis is the process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of highlighting useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making.
This course is presented in three modules. The primary focus of this first module is to provide you with a basic overview of data analysis. This includes understanding and differentiating data analytics from other methods of audit evidence collection and testing techniques, articulating the benefits and challenges of using data analytics, and identifying examples of analytical testing in common business process areas.
