The Albany Chapter strives to serve its members' needs with monthly training opportunities. During the 2024 -2025 chapter year, will host a combination of both in-person and virtual events, to accommodate our members' needs.

Welcome to the IIA Albany Chapter
Established in 1965, the Albany Chapter brings together internal auditors in New York's Capital District. We provide a source for audit news, career development, local opportunities, and vital internal audit and internal control contacts in the public and private sector. We hold regular meetings and seminars that encourage members to network with peers, develop professional contacts, and stay on top of current issues and practices in internal auditing. Our members are invited to volunteer for local or international committees or offices to strengthen their leadership skills and knowledge of the profession. Join us!

The Albany Chapter has a long tradition of supporting both our profession and our local members. As a chapter of the IIA, we work to bring together innovative training opportunities and emerging audit tools and techniques.
During the 2024-2025 training year, we'll be using a hybrid approach to learning and networking. This includes our popular November Fraud Conference and The Conference That Counts (TCTC). We'll be focusing on certification, with a series of CIA Review courses spread over the course of the year and Academic Outreach with various student events already planned.
We're always looking for new volunteers and fresh perspectives for our training programs. If you have an idea or a topic on something you'd like to see offered or wish to help out planning an event, please reach out to us.
