As organizations increasingly embed artificial intelligence into core operations, internal audit faces a fundamental question: how do we assure accountability when decision-making is driven by algorithms rather than individuals?
This webinar examines algorithmic accountability through an assurance lens, focusing on what internal auditors need to understand about auditing AI systems in practice. Participants will explore why traditional audit and governance assumptions may be insufficient in automated environments, where control logic is embedded within models, workflows, and system outputs.
Designed for internal auditors navigating rapidly evolving technological landscapes, this session offers practical, audit-relevant insights to help strengthen governance structures, enhance oversight, and reinforce trust as AI adoption accelerates.
