Format: Online
This webinar, "The CAE's New Mandate: A Three-Point Strategy to Pivot from AI Reviewer to Responsible AI Advisor," provides a practical roadmap for Chief Audit Executives (CAEs) and Internal Audit (IA) teams to transition from a reactive, project-by-project AI review approach to become proactive, strategic leaders in responsible AI. The presentation focuses on Artificial Intelligence and AI Tools for Internal Audit throughout the IA engagement cycle, detailing a battle-tested, three-point strategy (the Pillars):
- Learning (Tiered Fluency Program): Establishing a mandatory, tiered training program to close the "fluency gap" and equip auditors with the confidence and technical knowledge to audit AI.
- Managing (Model Risk Governance - MRM): Shifting to a "Controls by Design" approach by integrating IA requirements directly into the AI development lifecycle, mitigating risks (like bias and data integrity issues) before deployment.
- Assurance (Continuous Monitoring & Automation): Leveraging internal AI tools and frameworks to automate core audit processes, enabling a Continuous Auditing Model that provides real-time assurance and measurable ROI to the Board.
