The IIA leads the global internal audit profession. Volunteers make this possible. Their work supports internal auditors every day and helps shape the future of the profession’s future.

We are currently accepting nominations for board and committee roles. We welcome nominees from every part of our global membership.

Submit your nomination

Nominations will be open for submissions from August 26 – October 23, 2026.

How are nominees selected?

The Global and North American Nominating Committees have a rigorous and transparent nominating process for the selection of future board and committee members.

They look at two key factors in determining the slate of nominees are:

  • Commitment – the time and skills needed to contribute
  • Diversity – a healthy mix of geography, gender, age, ethnicity, skills, experience and length of service, so our boards and committees reflect the profession worldwide.
