Are you ready to lead?

Nominate Yourself

Volunteers are the backbone of The IIA. We are seeking enthusiastic members to fill a range of positions from local chapter events to board and committee positions, and from national to international posts.

General Information

  • You must have an active IIA membership to volunteer for a committee. Please log in to your IIA account and ensure all contact information is current.
  • When submitting a self-nomination form, you will be asked to provide two (2) references and their corresponding contact information. IIA Staff members and members of the Nominating Committees are not eligible to be a reference. References do not require an IIA membership and may be contacted by a Nominating Committee.
  • Nominations for a Board position should have an active IIA membership (preferred) or an IIA account to nominate and should be a Chief Audit Executive (CAE) – or a senior leader responsible for managing the internal audit activity.
  • The nomination system allows you to upload a resume/CV or bio to support your skills and competencies.
  • IIA Affiliates and Chapters are encouraged to provide endorsements to nominees for inclusion with their nomination form. The endorsements should be based on the observed experiences and prior volunteer activities of the nominee.
