Welcome to the IIA Saskatchewan Chapter
Welcome to our returning and new members of the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). To our new members, thank you for joining. Our mission is to serve the membership and the Internal Audit profession through:
- providing quality professional development opportunities;
- providing effective and timely communication regarding local and international information relative to the profession; and
- promoting the profession.
As returning members can share with you, the Saskatchewan Chapter is very active with a range of program offerings and social events. Because of our commitment to our members and the profession, our Chapter has recently achieved Sapphire status in the IIA’s Chapter Achievement Program (CAP). To qualify for recognition in the IIA’s CAP program, Chapters must earn specific minimum Chapter Achievement points in the categories of: service to members, service to the profession, and chapter administration.
The Chapter is comprised of a network of over 200 members throughout Saskatchewan and we would encourage you to maximize the value from your membership by taking full advantage of the Chapter's offerings and networking opportunities. Please check out our website to learn more about membership with the IIA, the Chapter, job postings and our upcoming training and events.
The strength of our Chapter is centred on the level of involvement by our members. With that in mind, we invite you to contact any Board Member to share your ideas, thoughts or feedback to improve our Chapter.

Hello IIA Saskatchewan Chapter members and friends,
Welcome to another year for our Chapter! We are excited for another great year ahead, providing training, development and networking opportunities, while advocating for our profession and building awareness with students in our province.
We plan to continue to deliver training in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats and continue to collaborate with other chapters across Canada.
Our advocacy efforts continue to be a focus, where we strive to be a positive voice for our profession. We are also continuing to build engagement with students at post-secondary institutions across the province, to share the exciting and engaging career paths available in internal audit across our province.
Thanks to all volunteers, past and current board members for supporting our Chapter. Please reach out to any of the IIA Saskatchewan Chapter board members if you would like to provide suggestions for the year, volunteer with the Chapter, or if you have any questions.
Looking forward to a great year for our Chapter!
Thank you,
Travis Boynton
IIA Saskatchewan Chapter President
