Adam Stumer, Chief Audit Officer for AmTrust Financial Services, has 37 years of audit experience within the financial industry that includes insurance, investment management, trading and securities, and capital management services. His career has been primarily focused on Internal Audit which included various leadership roles with AmTrust Financial Services, GE Capital, New York Stock Exchange, TIAA, and New York Life Insurance. In addition to leading audit teams during his 37 years, he has led initiatives around Sarbanes Oxley Compliance, quality assurance, audit and risk methodologies, data analytics, IT and corporate governance, fraud investigations, regulatory and corporate compliance, system implementations and process improvements.
In addition to earning a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and MBA in Finance, Adam is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Financial Services Auditor. He also serves as a Board of Governor of the NY Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
