In the wake of the devastating earthquakes in Venezuela, on behalf of The Institute of Internal Auditors and our Global and North American Boards of Directors, I want to extend our heartfelt support and sympathy to our members, chapter leaders, volunteers, and their families during this difficult time.
The IIA is a global community, united not only by our profession but also by our commitment to one another. In moments of uncertainty, we are reminded of the strength that comes from staying connected and supporting our colleagues around the world.
To our members and leaders in Venezuela, please know that you are in our thoughts. We recognize the challenges many are facing and are grateful for your continued resilience, professionalism, and dedication to the internal audit profession.
Our global community stands beside you as you recover and rebuild, with hope for the safety, healing, and well-being of everyone affected.
