This course is an immersive, lab-driven learning experience built for internal auditors who want to confidently use data to strengthen audit quality, insights, and impact. This program emphasizes applied learning through interactive hands-on labs where you will build and automate real analytics workflows using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Python-in-Excel, and AI-powered tools.

Participants who complete the course are eligible to sit for the certificate exam which is administered on The IIA’s LMS platform. To prepare candidates for the exam, each course segment concludes with a short multiple-choice practice quiz. Participants can retake these quizzes as often as needed to achieve mastery.
After completing all segments, participants must pass a 50 multiple-choice certificate exam. The exam allows up to three attempts before a retake fee is required. NOTE: All assessments and exams are open-resource.
