For all involved, volunteering with the Central Missouri Chapter is a rewarding experience.
We invite you to join us for another incredible year as we endeavor to make the Central Missouri Chapter the professional organization of choice for internal auditing and risk management professionals.
The continued success of the Chapter during its 70 years has been a direct result if dedicated members and capable leadership. The chapter's main focus has always been, and continues to be, the interaction and education of its members. The Chapter sponsors monthly meetings and seminars with presentations by internal audit practitioners and educators including presentations by chapter members.
Please join us at one of our many chapter meetings or seminars throughout the year to connect with fellow professionals and enhance your career.
We are pleased to be a 2023 Building Awareness Champion!
During Internal Audit Awareness Month in May, we shared our passion for internal auditing, promoting the profession through a variety of events and campaigns designed to inform and engage, raise awareness, and help stakeholders understand the value of internal audit in their organizations.
Similar to the goals and objectives set by the organizations we work for and that we set for ourselves, The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and its Chapters set goals and objectives that guide their efforts to achieve desired results. Chapters communicate the status of their efforts to The IIA through the CAP. The CAP recognizes the activities Chapters perform to promote The IIA's strategies and objectives and Chapters' local objectives. It also sets minimum standards of performance for Chapters, and is a means for the IIA and Chapters to evaluate the achievement of established objectives. The CAP measures the ability of Chapter Leadership to meet its responsibilities in three categories: chapter health, professionalism and, most importantly, service to members. Points are earned for the activities Chapter Leadership and Chapter Members complete in these categories.
The Central Missouri Chapter is currently recognized as a Ruby Chapter.
