About Us
The Institute of Internal Auditors Botswana was established in 1996 as a non- profit making organization registered under section 6(1) of the Societies Act. It is an affiliate of the IIA Global as a National Institute.
IIA Botswana is the only professionally recognised body in Botswana that is entirely dedicated to the development of the internal audit profession. IIA Botswana is committed to the ongoing development of internal auditors, and provides a range of training courses and seminars, networking opportunities and other services. It is governed by a voluntary Board of Governors (BoG), which is constitutionally elected by members at an Annual General Meeting.
