About Us

The Institute of Internal Auditors Kyrgyzstan Chapter is being established to advance the internal audit profession across the Kyrgyz Republic. Founded by a Formation Committee of practicing professionals, it serves internal auditors, risk and control professionals, and finance specialists across the banking, mining, government, and private sectors.

Our mission is to advocate for the profession, grow a qualified membership community, and champion the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) as the benchmark for internal auditing in Kyrgyzstan. We support auditors in earning globally recognised qualifications - the CIA, CRMA, and Internal Audit Practitioner designations - and position internal audit as a cornerstone of sound corporate governance, risk management, and fraud prevention.

We work in close cooperation with our stakeholders: the regulators and public institutions that shape the profession - the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Kyrgyz Stock Exchange; the professional and academic community, including audit firms and the country's universities; and international partners. Our members come primarily from the banking, government, and mining sectors.

We invite auditors and finance professionals across the country to join us in strengthening governance, transparency, and trust in Kyrgyzstan.
