Welcome to the IIA San Diego Chapter
The San Diego Chapter is located in southern California on the Mexican border. We have a very active chapter of approximately 500 members performing internal audit in a very wide variety of businesses in the local area. The chapter conducts in-person and virtual CPE sessions, Chief Audit Executive roundtable and other social networking events.
Chapter Advocacy Supporter
The 2026 IIA Advocacy Key recognizes U.S. chapters that have strengthened the internal audit profession through direct grassroots advocacy. This badge honors the chapter’s critical support of IIA Advocacy in advancing robust and coordinated engagement with key U.S. policymakers.

The officers and governors/committee members of the San Diego Chapter appreciate your visit to our web site. We would like to have your input to help us develop the plan that most effectively meets the needs of the audit community in San Diego. Please pass your comments, suggestions, and most importantly, your offers of assistance, to the appropriate person as listed. We have many volunteer opportunities within the IIA San Diego Chapter. All our Chapter events are driven by a dedicated team of volunteers. Additional benefits of volunteering include networking, promoting the internal audit profession, obtaining CPEs while volunteering, and having fun along the way! Please reach out to us via the Chapter’s email chapter52@iiachaptercommunications.org.
