Welcome to the IIA Central Kentucky Chapter
The Central Kentucky Chapter was founded in 1984 with 17 members. The first Chapter meeting was held on January 10, 1985 at the Western Steer Restaurant on Richmond Road in Lexington. As of 2026, the chapter has approximately 118 members representing a wide range of businesses in central and eastern Kentucky. The Chapter is a not-for-profit organization that was established to provide its members a means by which they may enhance their knowledge of Internal Auditing and share information.
Chapter Advocacy Supporter
The 2026 IIA Advocacy Key recognizes U.S. chapters that have strengthened the internal audit profession through direct grassroots advocacy. This badge honors the chapter’s critical support of IIA Advocacy in advancing robust and coordinated engagement with key U.S. policymakers.
