The deadline to submit nominations for the 2023 American Hall of Distinguished Audit Practitioners is November 23, 2022. As the highest honor given by The IIA North American Board of Directors, the Hall recognizes key individuals in the field of internal auditing who have contributed significantly to the profession throughout their lifetime and set the standard for others to emulate.
Specific qualifications and eligibility criteria include exemplifying highly ethical conduct, integrity, moral character, service, and leadership in the practice of internal audit and in service to The IIA. With the intent to recognize truly distinguished service by IIA members in the United States, no more than three practitioners will receive this award in a single year.
Inductees will be announced and acknowledged at the 2023 General Audit Management (GAM) Conference, March 13–15, at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas.
