Common Observations During an External Quality Assessment (EQA)
They differ in size, location, industry, governance structure, private or public sector, and regulatory oversight. However, there are some common observations (successful practices or opportunities for continuous improvement) that appear frequently during assessments. Many observations are a successful practice with one organization and an opportunity for continuous improvement with another. Internal audit activities might be mindful of these as they perform internal assessment activities or prepare for an external assessment.
