Data for Internal Audit Research
Thank you for your interest in accessing internal audit research data from the Internal Audit Foundation. The Foundation encourages educators and researchers who are passionate about the field of internal auditing to leverage the Foundation’s historical data. In granting requests to access data, the Foundation hopes to foster the production of insightful research that will benefit internal audit practitioners and advance the study of internal auditing.
To request data access, download and complete the data access request form. Submit your completed form to research@theiia.org.

The Internal Audit Foundation is currently accepting requests for data from the following surveys:

Processing of Requests
The Foundation looks forward to supporting you in your research endeavors. Please note, submitting a data request does not guarantee the Foundation will fulfil your request. The Foundation reserves the right to decline a data access request at its sole discretion. Responses to a submitted data access request may take up to 30 days.
