Cristina is passionate about building meaningful connections, supporting the growth of the internal audit profession, and strengthening the global pipeline of future audit leaders.

Director, Certifications Outreach and Engagement, The Institute of Internal Auditors
Christina Brune is the Director of Certifications Outreach and Engagement at The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), where she leads efforts to drive awareness, growth, and stakeholder engagement across The IIA’s certification portfolio, including its flagship designation, the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), held by more than 200,000 practitioners worldwide. With more than 25 years at The IIA, her previous roles have included developing content for certification exams, global guidance, member newsletters, and the Internal Auditor magazine.
