Public Consultation: Anti-Corruption Topical Requirement

The Anti-Corruption Topical Requirement will be mandatory for providing assurance on the effectiveness of anti-corruption programs, including policies, training, whistleblower mechanisms, and more. The proposed draft is now available for 45 days of public consultation, 8 June-23 July 2026. The results of the public consultation will inform the final publication and user guide, expected for issuance in 2026.

About Topical Requirements

Topical Requirements are a new element of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) containing mandatory requirements for evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes on specific risk topics. Each new Topical Requirement receives a 45-day public consultation as part of The IIA’s due process. We encourage you to submit feedback via the survey provided. Letters are also accepted at standards-guidance@theiia.org.
