Volunteer Engagement
Volunteers are the cornerstone of the IIA, and the Bahamas Chapter is no different. The difference between volunteer engagement and volunteer leadership is the time commitment required. There are many ways you can get involved with the IIA. We understand that everyone does not have enough time to attend monthly meetings and plan events but maybe you can spare time to contribute an article, proofread the quarterly newsletter, or speak at an event. Many hands make light work, so embrace this opportunity to shine!
To volunteer, reach out at Email Volunteer Engagement.Volunteer Leadership
Committees
The objective of Chapter Committees is to focus on distinct initiatives that are not directly related to training, membership and other core activities assumed by the Council on a monthly basis. Active committees* are as follows;

The Bahamas Chapter holds elections every year, at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), and Council positions and their related tasks are outlined in the writeup below;
Each role is ideally designed to have an Asst VP.
Note that the President-Elect role, is the only non-elected role, and it has no Asst. VP position attached.
