Margie Bastolla is an author, trainer, and consultant who helps internal audit departments write clear, impactful reports; reduce report revisions; and quicken report issuance. She is the author of Clarity, Impact, Speed: Delivering Audit Reports that Matter, 2nd Edition, published in 2023 by The IIA.
Having worked in 40+ countries, Margie has taught thousands of auditors to think critically and write clearly. She also helps organizations design reports that meet their readers’ needs. Margie’s clients include Fortune 500 companies, the U.S. military, international agencies, and many organizations within the financial services, healthcare, and higher education sectors. She previously spent 20 years in executive and leadership roles at The IIA.
