The IIA Winnipeg Chapter has over 250 members and is part of the global IIA membership of more than 254,000 internal audit professionals. The Chapter provides training, education, and networking opportunities to internal audit professionals in the area.

Through its volunteers and alignment with the strategy of IIA Canada, IIA Winnipeg:

• Promotes and advocates for the Internal Audit profession;
• Promotes standards and accreditation, and builds expertise and value in the profession;
• Provides timely and quality service to members;
• Manages Chapter operations in an accountable, financially sustainable and transparent fashion; and
• Contributes to the development of IIA Canada

Welcome members and future members!

I’m honoured to step into my first year as Chapter President and excited for what lies ahead.

We have a strong lineup of learning events planned, both in-person and virtual, starting this fall with our annual Emerging Trends in Internal Audit Summit. We will continue partnering with other IIA Chapters and professional organizations across Manitoba to broaden and elevate the learning opportunities—and overall value—we bring to our members.

At the same time, our Advocacy team continues to promote the profession by building connections with post-secondary institutions, organizations, and government across the province.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated board of volunteers. Together, we are committed to finding new ways to support our members and advance the internal audit profession, while delivering learning content that is both relevant and forward-looking.
