Welcome to the IIA Calgary Chapter!
The IIA Calgary Chapter is managed and operated by a group of volunteer internal auditors dedicated to providing continuing professional development, networking, and advocacy opportunities for members within Calgary. The chapter currently has more than 500 members and organizes various courses, luncheons, and socials that take place throughout the year.

Calgary Chapter Annual General Meeting
It is our pleasure to invite you to the Calgary Chapter AGM and In-Person Social Network Event, which will take place on Tuesday, May 7th at 5pm. All members affiliated with the Calgary Chapter in good standing at the close of business on May 6, 2024 are invited to attend the AGM and will be entitled to vote at the meeting. Each member company is asked to send a designated representative to the Annual General Meeting. Register now.

On February 22, 2024, the Chapter held a Lunch and Learn session on "AI Governance: Strengthening Transparency with Model Cards" presented by Maris Sekar. A copy of the presentation is available below.
On November 23, 2023, the Chapter held a Lunch and Learn session on "Bill S-211: An Act to enact the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act and to amend the Customs Tariff - Internal Audit's Role in Human Rights Reporting" presented by Kyla Reid and Emmanuelle Pautynsky from Deloitte. The Calgary Chapter of the IIA comprises approximately 500 audit professionals from a wide variety of industries. Our members are committed to the principles of the internal audit profession. All proceeds from sponsorships are used to fund the Chapter’s professional education and outreach programs. The professional development program is operated on a not-for-profit basis with any surplus funds reinvested into areas that benefit our members. Sponsorship options listed in the attached Sponsorship Agreement Form are on an event or fiscal year basis (IIA Calgary fiscal year June 1 – May 31). All sponsors must complete a signed Sponsorship Agreement which lasts for the duration of the event or the fiscal year depending on the sponsorship option chosen.
